6FT x 3FT Point Top Picket Fence Panel - Pressure Treated Brown

This 6ft x 3ft Point Top Picket Fence Panel is a great option when you want a clear boundary line with a traditional look, but you still want the garden to feel open. At 3ft high it gives a bit more presence than a 2ft panel, making it ideal for front gardens, side returns, and low dividing fences where you want definition without full privacy.

The panel is pressure treated for outdoor use and built from thirteen 75 x 19mm picket pales fixed to two 75 x 32mm back rails. The pales are spaced at roughly 75mm apart, giving that familiar picket pattern and a consistent finish along the run. The pointed top profile adds a sharper, classic look that works well on period style properties and anywhere you want a more traditional front boundary.

Picket fencing is often chosen because it gives structure without blocking light. It keeps sight lines open, which can be useful around driveways and entrances, and it allows air to move through the fence line. At 3ft high it’s also a good compromise for gardens where you want a bit of separation from the pavement or a neighbouring path, but you don’t want a fence that dominates the space.

For a neat install, set out your run so post centres are consistent and panels sit comfortably without forcing. Keep the bottom edge clear of the ground and avoid soil building up against the timber over time. If you’re working on uneven ground, stepping the fence in small increments usually gives the cleanest finish with picket panels.
