Description
This 6ft x 4ft Closeboard Fence Panel is a great all-rounder for gardens where you want a stronger, more private look than light panels, but you don’t need full height fencing. At 4ft tall it suits side boundaries, shared lines between gardens, and internal dividers where you want a clear separation without making the space feel too enclosed.
We source these fence panels from a local manufacturer. The face is built from 18 boards at 125mm wide, overlapped and nailed onto 75 x 32mm backing rails. This size uses three rails, which gives a good balance of strength and weight for everyday garden use. With boards fixed across three rails, the panel holds its shape well and the boards are supported at the key points where movement tends to start.
